Backup Archive Systems do much more than simple backup copy software which usually is used on PCs and servers. A Backup Archive System does not only take care that backups will be created. It additionally manages the backup stock to provide a backup archive with multiple benefit. VersionBackup is the Backup Archive System for Single User PCs and PCs in the networks. To save the data of a server, VersionBackup Server provides much specialized features.Other backup software is restricted to the creation of backup copies. Functions to manage the existing backup stock usually are missing. The backup files will be overwritten each time, when a new backup version of a file is created. This way, the generally used backup software provides only the last copied backup for recovery. Older backup versions are not present yet.
